As all of the guys in the chatroom know, I’m a sugar nut. I always have cake, cream puffs, cookies, etc. laying around my office. This is probably why I’m so fat but meh… I don’t care. It’s worth it.
So today I’m sitting at work, (Yes. I was working!), and one of my coworkers sends me an email: Go down to the cafeteria now! The pastry class has just baked 4 kinds of cookies: peanut butter, oatmeal raisin, chocolate chip, and russian tea cookies. They also have brownies.
Death. I got that email and pretty much ran down to the cafeteria. What did I see when I got there? 4 bazillion chocolate chip cookies, and 3 pouches of the Russian tea cookies. Someone apparently bought all the other cookies, or the pastry class made like 2 cookies each of the other stuff. I grabbed a pouch of the tea cookies, and a pouch of the chocolate chip. I normally don’t like chocolate chip cookies, but darn it… I came down for cookies and I’m coming back with cookies!
Well the Russian tea cookies are pretty good, but the chocolate chip cookies are kind of funky. They arent soft and chewy, but more of a slight harsh chewy. The tea cookies are coated with powdered sugar, and taste kind of like the Chinese green bean cookies… just not as good. So all in all, the baking class fails!
Now… to reveal a big secret. If you want me to do anything for you, just bribe me with sweets. XD I’ll do a good job, just to earn it. But the only down side is: if your sugary delights taste bad… prepare to hear an earful.
